Wildwood & Eden Tipi Wedding

Photographing Ellie & Paddy’s wedding at Wildwood & Eden in Scarborough was an absolute treat — a coastal tipi wedding with all the relaxed, boho vibes you could hope for! From the very start, the day felt like a mini adventure: the salty sea air, the open skies, and that perfect mix of natural beauty and festival-style fun.

Ellie looked radiant, with her dress flowing beautifully in the coastal breeze, and Paddy couldn’t stop grinning the whole day. I loved capturing the moments that made this wedding feel so uniquely theirs — from Ellie and her friends laughing while getting ready, to Paddy’s first look with his groomsmen, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Yorkshire coastline.

The tipi itself was incredible. Its natural wood tones, fairy lights, and the way it framed the coastal views made it feel intimate yet wild at the same time. Watching guests relax, sip drinks, and wander around the outdoor space really highlighted the chilled, festival-style atmosphere. I especially loved the outdoor ceremony — the sound of the waves in the background and the fresh sea breeze made it feel both epic and personal.

Later on, capturing Ellie & Paddy’s candid moments — running along the beach, hugging under the tipi lights, dancing barefoot — was a joy. These are the images that truly tell their story: a wedding that’s fun, free-spirited, and full of genuine love and laughter.

Coastal weddings like this are some of my favourites because they let me play with natural light, wide-open spaces, and the unpredictable, beautiful energy of the sea and sky. Ellie & Paddy’s day had all of that in spades — relaxed, magical, and completely unforgettable.
