Samlesbury Hall Wedding
Caroline & Josh’s wedding at Samlesbury Hall was an absolute vibe. This place is steeped in history—stone walls, timber beams, and all the character you could ask for—and it made for a seriously epic backdrop. From the get-go, the day had this effortless energy: calm, relaxed, and full of little moments that felt completely them.
Caroline was looking amazing, every detail nailed but never overdone, while Josh had that quietly excited energy that made you smile just watching him. I love those pre-ceremony snippets—the moments no one’s expecting you to capture but somehow say everything about the day—and there were plenty here.
The grounds and interiors at Samlesbury Hall were made for wandering. We grabbed a few shots outside on the lawns and then sneaked into those dramatic old rooms with light streaming through ancient windows. It’s that mix of history and modern energy that I live for in weddings—old stone, new laughs.
Inside the Great Hall, the vibe stayed casual but electric. Guests mingled, danced, toasted, and all the while Caroline & Josh just soaked it up. My job? Blend in, stay invisible, and catch those unscripted, real moments. And honestly, that’s where the best images come from.
This day was a perfect reminder of why I love shooting weddings like this—stylish but relaxed, characterful but real. Caroline & Josh brought the energy and Samlesbury Hall brought the amazing backdrop.
