Arley Hall Wedding

Sofi & Maria’s wedding at Arley Hall in Cheshire was one of those days that just feels a bit special from the moment you arrive. Arley Hall—famous for popping up in a few major TV series—sets the scene with this incredible grand, elegant feel, and it honestly lived up to every bit of the hype. It was my first time photographing a wedding there, and it didn’t disappoint at all. The whole place has that proper stately charm, but it still feels really warm and full of life when it’s filled with people celebrating.

As a Cheshire wedding photographer, venues like Arley Hall are a bit of a dream, especially when you’ve got a couple like Sofi & Maria bringing that much energy into it. They were fully on a mission to have the best day ever, and that vibe never dipped once. From the morning right through to the evening, it was all laughter, big smiles, and loads of genuine moments that made it such a joy to capture. You can really feel that energy in the photos too—nothing forced, just everything unfolding naturally.

These two had actually already had an intimate wedding the year before at Stockport Town Hall, which felt like a really personal, low-key celebration, and Arley Hall was their big, full celebration with all their favourite people. It was like the perfect second chapter to their story—same love, just turned all the way up. That history between them just made everything feel even more meaningful on the day.

Sofi & Maria were amazing in front of the camera too—totally up for the portraits, relaxed, and just enjoying the moment rather than overthinking anything. Their connection is so natural and full of joy that it made everything really easy to photograph. It’s the kind of energy that carries through every part of the day.

By the evening, once MC Tom Finkill got things going, the whole place absolutely kicked off. The dance floor was completely buzzing and stayed that way all night. It was one of those proper full-send celebrations where nobody holds back, and the atmosphere just keeps building.
